Please join us in congratulating Iris, our Student of the Month for April. Iris is a remarkable source of positive energy and kindness throughout the elementary school. Her joyful personality brightens our day, and her attention to detail, while keeping us on our toes, truly shows she is small but mighty.
She has demonstrated incredible resilience, patience, and bravery this year, particularly in learning to manage her diabetes. At only 6, she has inspired us all by quickly mastering the ability to monitor her blood sugar—an impressive feat for any person, let alone a 1st grader.
Iris is a wonderful student who works very hard. She has made significant academic growth and continues to improve in every area, recently tackling her first double-digit addition problem. Her positive presence is consistent; greeting the staff with a big smile and patiently waits to say hello before heading to class. Iris is also a great friend, and other students naturally enjoy being around her. Congrats Iris!!
