Kalama Elementary School invites all interested families to attend a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Information Night on Thursday, April 25 from 4:30 to 6 pm.
In addition to providing families with an opportunity to learn more about Transitional Kindergarten, the event will help the school and district gauge interest in the program ahead of the 2024-2025 school year.
Transitional Kindergarten (also known as “TK” or “Junior Kindergarten”) is a no-cost, full-day early learning program designed to prepare four-year-olds, both socially and academically, for traditional kindergarten (which serves five-year-olds).
Ahead of the April 25 Information Night, families can contact the school and request to be put on a TK waiting list. The school can be reached at 360-673-5207.
