Student eligibility

In order to be eligible to play a sport, athletes must meet the following criteria prior to the first day of practice:

  • Register online with FinalForms

  • ASB Fee ($50 KHS or $35 KMS)

  • P2P fee (see below)

  • Current Physical (good for two years)

  • Academically eligible (minimum of 2.0 GPA, no failing grades, Running Start/Home Based Education form on file)

  • Extracurricular, Participation, Inherent Risk, SCA/Concussion, Proof of Insurance, policies agreed upon and signed

  • No outstanding fines

Pay to play fees

To help offset the increasing costs of running our athletic programs, a pay-to-play (P2P) fee is required for each sports season a student chooses to participate in. The fees for each season are structured to be more affordable as students participate in additional seasons:

  • Kalama Middle School P2P: 1st Season: $75; 2nd Season: $35; 3rd Season: $25

  • Kalama High School P2P: 1st Season: $100; 2nd Season: $50; 3rd Season: $25

We understand that any fee, no matter how big or small, can be a burden for some families. If your family is facing financial difficulties, please reach out to the District Office (360-673-5282) to see about qualifying for a no-cost ASB card as part of the district’s Free & Reduced Meal program.

Regular season general admission tickets

In an effort to provide more convenience and flexibility, fans are now able to purchase general admission tickets to middle and high school events using the GoFan digital ticketing platform.

GoFan offers a hassle-free, contactless way to secure tickets. Chinooks fans can visit the GoFan website or download the GoFan app to purchase tickets in advance and, upon arrival at the event, they can simply show their mobile ticket to gain entry.

Understanding that some fans may prefer traditional buying methods, tickets will remain available for purchase at the venue.

WIAA event tickets

The WIAA (Washington Interscholastic Activities Association) has made the transition to digital ticketing. Online tickets are now available for purchase through WIAA’s ticketing partner, GoFan

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online in advance of events, but will have the ability to purchase digital tickets on-site by accessing the GoFan digital ticketing platform using their mobile device.
