ALL SCHOOL NEWS   Are you interested in becoming a cheerleader?  Come learn the basics including jumps and stunting techniques with the KHS cheer team. They’ll be attending a cheer clinic sponsored by Universal Cheer Association on Sunday, November 10th @ Heritage High School in Vancouver.  The cost is $39. If interested, please sign up with Teresa in the office.

MS and HS-- bring in your carved, decorated, painted, or sculpted pumpkin this week for our annual contest in the  library, and we will vote for our favorites on Halloween, this Thursday.  There will be prizes of the candy kind.

HIGH SCHOOL   Change in assignment completion locations~ Freshman will now go to Ms Becker’s portable out in the shop parking lot.  Juniors and seniors will go to the library.  The library is now closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during lunch except for junior and seniors who want to do work or are assigned there.

Congratulations to the new NHS recruits!  There will be a mandatory meeting for new NHS members as well as the NHS officers today during lunch in Mr. Reed's room.  See you there!

Seniors interested in joining the military can take the ASVAB test here at KHS on Nov 6. Please see Mrs. Delker for details. 

MIDDLE SCHOOL  Join the Kalama music department October 30th at 7:00 PM in the auditorium for our fall concert.  

The Costume Question...Are middle school students permitted to wear costumes to school on Thursday? Yes, however, they have to meet the dress code guidelines and school policies. For safety reasons we can't have masks, weapons, or anything that would be a disruption to the academic environment.

Carnival will be Friday from 3-6:30 in the lower gym.

Have you ever been interested in being a trial lawyer?  We are working on getting a mock trial club started.  If you are interested, sign up outside the office.

SPORTS & ACTIVITIES  On Friday, at 12:50 in the health portable, there is a meeting for all high school girls interested in playing basketball this year.  

All Boys Basketball Players the informational basketball meeting has been changed to Monday; November 4th due to half day schedule. Please meet in Coach Armstrong’s room during high school lunch.
