Dining Services team wins Chartwells Platinum Award

Chartwells, which provides meals and food programs for school districts across the country, has awarded the Kalama School District Dining Services team with their elusive Platinum Account Award.

Chartwells recognized the Kalama team based on various criteria, such as inclusion excellence, participation and budgeting success.

Led by Dining Services Director Heidi Neiman, the staff has been active in the community, volunteering their time to cook at local fundraisers and teaching students how to bake. Neiman is also an active leader in her local 4-H Club.

“Our focus in the kitchen is all about teamwork,” stated Heidi.
