Kalama/Middle High School Daily Bulletin

Lunch today is  double pancake and cheesy omelet.  Tomorrow is homemade chicken noodle soup and garlic toast. 

ALL SCHOOL NEWS   Early release Thursday and Friday.  We will be having periods 1,3,5.  Friday will be period 2,4,6.

Shout out to SENIORS! Ben Thornberry, Ashleyanne Barajas and Kylie Hering for stepping in at the last minute to help with the MS Knowledge Bowl meet last Thursday.  

MS/HS - sport bags need to be stored in the shelving across from the office.  Any bags that do not fit within the shelving unit (stack bags on top of each other) need to be neatly placed against the wall next to the shelving unit.  Any bags that are on the floor in front of the shelving unit or away from the wall next to the shelving unit will be locked away for pick-up after school.

Looking for highly motivated, reliable student to promote school spirit and bring a new level of athleticism to KHS Cheer!  Dance, gymnastic and stunting skills encouraged but not required.  Cheer packets available in the office.  Practice will be in the lower gym March 25-28 5:30-7:30 with tryouts on March 29th 3:30-5:30 in the lower gym. HIGH SCHOOL   Sophomores and Juniors who are interested in a career in the Medical Field, the PeaceHealth St. Johns Mentorship Program could be a great way for you to earn some money and see what it’s like working at a Hospital. If you have more questions or need more details, please see Mrs. Jackson. Applications are due by April 8th.

 Attention Juniors and Seniors! Do you have an interest in Construction, Manufacturing, IT or Healthcare? If you answered yes to one of those careers, then consider going on a Hands-On Field Trip March 19th at the Clark County Fair Grounds. Please see Mrs. Jackson or Mr. Torppa for more information or to get a permission slip. Must be turned in by March 15th.

Seniors, looking for a summer job? Cowlitz county is currently accepting applications for 2019 Summer Hire Program with open positions in multiple departments. Please see Mrs. Jackson in room 205 for more details. 

Stud ball is coming up.  Stud ball is a boys’ volleyball tournament that is being held in Ridgefield on March 22nd AT 6pm.   Contact leadership to sign up.
