If you are picking up a sack lunch, please leave your 5th period 5 minutes early.

ALL SCHOOL NEWS   Early release today will be periods 1,3,5.  Tomorrow will be periods 2,4,6.

Shout out to the FFA team for their inaugural appearance at the regional CDE competition, Kalama was well represented.  Congratulations to Ella Jenkins for her 2nd place win in the Creed Speaking event. 

The shelving unit across from the office is for sports bags and equipment only.  The bags need to be placed in the until or neatly placed against the wall next to the shelving unit.  They may also be stacked on top of one another.  Any bags that are on the floor in front of the shelving unit or away from the wall next to the shelving unit will be locked away for pick-up after school.

If you’re interested in trying out for cheer for next year, practice will start on March 25 through the 28th from 5:30-7:30 in the lower gym.  Tryouts will be March 29th from 3:30-5:30.  Get you packet in the office.

HIGH SCHOOL   Sophomores and Juniors who are interested in a career in the Medical Field, the PeaceHealth St. Johns Mentorship Program could be a great way for you to earn some money and see what it’s like working at a Hospital. If you have more questions or need more details, please see Mrs. Jackson. Applications are due by April 8th.

 Attention Juniors and Seniors! Do you have an interest in Construction, Manufacturing, IT or Healthcare? If you answered yes to one of those careers, then consider going on a Hands-On Field Trip March 19th at the Clark County Fair Grounds. Please see Mrs. Jackson or Mr. Torppa for more information or to get a permission slip. Must be turned in by March 15th.

Seniors, looking for a summer job? Cowlitz county is currently accepting applications for 2019 Summer Hire Program with open positions in multiple departments. Please see Mrs. Jackson in room 205 for more details. 

Seniors!  The local scholarship from AMALAK is now available and application info and form is in Mr. White's classroom.  We also have Lundquist Scholarship which is available online.

Stud ball is coming up.  Stud ball is a boys’ volleyball tournament that is being held in Ridgefield on March 22nd AT 6pm.   Contact leadership to sign up.
