ALL SCHOOL NEWS  Students Gr 9-12, if you would like to know more about an opportunity to win a $1,000 award for writing an essay about you or a loved one's experience with cancer see Mrs. Dye in the library.

Do you have clothing just laying around?  Kalama HS Leadership is putting on a clothing drive through the 22nd. We will be donating all items to the Oak Bridge Youth Shelter in Vancouver. Donation boxes will be in senior hall.

HIGH SCHOOL NEWS  Seniors: Are you interested in a job with Dept of Natural Resources - like fighting Wild Fires in the summer, etc.) We will have a guest speaker and recruiter here on campus Wednesday to explain the application process ,etc.  Please sign up with Mrs. Delker by Wednesday at noon.  

MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS  It’s time to get your glam on!  There will be a dance themed about the Oscars on Friday the 15th from 3-5:30.  Admission will be $4 with an ASB and $5 without.  Don’t  forget to be glam so you will walk in and be like BAM!

Attention all middle schoolers!  For Valentine’s day middle school leadership is selling Crush for a Crush for $1 and candy hearts 2 for $1 during lunch outside room 204.  They will be delivered 6th period on Valentine’s day.

SPORTS  Congratulations to our wrestling team for finishing 2nd place at the District tournament and qualifying 10 wrestlers for the State championships.  District Champions were:  Chase Staup, Ethan Hoggatt, Sutton Moon 2nd Placers were:  Braydon Rauscher, Abe Foreman 3rd Placers were:  Mason Rogers, Arthur Olinger 4th Placers were:  Blake Vandenberg, Eli Haynes, 5th Place was: Seth Hoseney.  Marcus Beck, Carson Hoggatt, and Cody Snyder qualified as alternates for State.  Vanessa Bautista place 4th for the Girl’s team and is also a State alternate.  There will be a send-off for the wrestling team on Thursday.

Attention Spring sports athletes:  Track and Field (or any sport/athlete) weight training/conditioning routine ending Feb 21.  Monday through Thursday 3-4:30.  Coach Pat Shipley is going to work with anyone who wants to come and get ready for spring sports.
